HELP- Need restaurant recommendations!!

Heading up to DC and cannot get a reservation anywhere near our hotel in Penn Quarter!! Jose Andres take pity- I am dying to go to Zaytinya or Jaleo, but alas only if I want to eat at 10 pm!!!
Since my husband is a diabetic, that is out of the question.

Any suggestions from readers on other places in that area (or a short cab ride) where I can get some really good food?!

Rasika - it is in the Penn Qtr (I believe) and was amazing. It is 'modern' Indian food. I went with three people that LOVE Indian food (I was not one of them) and all of us LOVED it! Absolutely loved. Great service and wonderful food!

LauraF- Thanks so much- I tried but could not get a reservation there- see my review of Oya. Rasika is definitely on the menu for a future trip!

I also go their they have better service and great quality of food. I really loved quality so if you get reservation at-least try that restaurant
